Whilst SHARAN aims to support young women, particularly of South Asian backgrounds, who have been unable to remain in their family environment for reasons OTHER than domestic violence or forced marriage, we understand the need to provide information on all related services. As such we aim to provide a one-stop-shop for you to access all support links on one site.
There are many reasons other than Domestic Violence or Forced Marriage which leads South Asian women to leave leave home. This site is aimed at helping thoes who feel they do not simply fit into these boxes and want to actively find out more about what support and choices are available to them.
